Apple Cider Vinegar – A Household Favourite
Apple cider vinegar is made from fermented apple juice. Raw, organic and unfiltered is best where possible as it ensures a high quality product.
Apple cider vinegar can easily be incorporated throughout a daily routine. It can be used to wash fresh fruit and vegetables and can be used in place of toxic, chemical household cleaners. Apple cider vinegar adds a great shine to mirrors and windows, is used to freshen up dishwashers in place of detergents and can be used diluted as a surface cleaner.
It has been known to act as a natural flea repellent when used on pets, as well as doubling over for its culinary uses in salad dressings, marinades and chutneys.
Apple cider vinegar is rich in pectin, calcium, iron, phosphorus, potassium and magnesium. It also boasts antioxidant properties.
Combined with water, it can be used as a spray solution to promote shiny, healthy looking hair.
Taken internally (we suggest 2 tsps of apple cider vinegar mixed in 500mls water and sipped throughout the day), apple cider vinegar is believed to boost energy and act as a natural detoxifier. It is often used to promote a healthy heart, improved immunity, joint pain reliever and aids better digestion. It encourages a balanced body by helping maintain a healthy pH balance.
No cupboard should be without it.
